Chassis
The DIVIP804KC products can be purchased in a 1.5U high 19” rack compatible chassis. Robust mechanics and logical interface design guarantee easy installation and operation. The box contains 2 pieces of internal fans. The fans are regulated in order to achieve optimally low noise level and sufficient cooling for the long term, stable operation.
Power connection
The chassis contains internal power supply supporting all of the international mains electricity standards from 90V up to 265V. The video processor can be switched on and switched off by the following methods
• Back panel switch
• Front panel, standby switch
• LAN connector based switch-on or switch-off by remote command
Please note to switch off first and then remove the power supply cable if opening the chassis for any reason.
Power switches, Standby mode
There are two switches controlling the switch-on and switch-off operation.
The mains switch on the back side, near the 230V mains connector performs full mains SWITCH ON or SWITCH OFF relating to the 230V power.
The front switch of the chassis has special function if the back panel mains switch is on. The product can be put into standby phase by using the front panel switch. The very last status and output content is saved during the standby phase. The second push of the front panel switch deactivates the standby phase so the very last state of operation appears.
Remote Switch-on and Switch-off
The DIVIP804KC can be switched on and switched off remotely in case of the mains power switch is on. The TCP/IP based remote command can force the DIMAX to standby or can return the product from the standby phase.
Programmed wake-up and standby
The DIVIP contains separate scheduler to wake up the device or send to standby mode. This scheduling can be programmed and works according to the internal calendar clock.
Front LED and push buttons for setup
The front panel LED displays status information for setup and control. There are push buttons for navigation and control inside the setup to handle setting up of basic configuration information
• Setting of DHCP or fixed IP address and additional LAN parameters
• Function assignment of signal driving push buttons
• Setting of RS232C signals’ connection parameters
• OSD display settings
• Factory reset setting
Push buttons for signal controlThere are of push buttons for input signal and a separate set for output signal management on the front of the chassis. They can work for multiple purposes:
• The input buttons can select a certain input signal to be displayed on a certain output channel identified by the output button. This can be used for signal display one-by-one, usually for testing.
• The user can generate layouts and can assign them to push buttons. In this case the push of a certain button recalls the pre-designed layout on a rather straightforward way.

Disable of push button operation
Front panel push button operation can be disabled using a special system setting. In this case user can prevent un-authorized user action from the front panels and so improve system responsibility.

Control of video wall surface
The DEXON Intelligent Video Processors process input video signals and map them to the coherent video wall surface of 4 output displays. The operation is supported by real time signal processing, scaling, cropping and mapping. Great customer experience can be achieved by the border-less handling of the video wall surface.
Real time signal handling for perfect customer satisfaction
The DIVIP products perform all operations in real time. So the output signals are displayed in real time from the inputs regardless of the signal resolution, scaling, PIP and number of signals controlled. No drop of frames, no black frames or transitions can be experienced.
Unlimited scaling of input signals to outputs
The DIVIP804KC devices contain two output signal scaling engines for each of the output channels. The scaling operation has no limit so the scale up from any input resolution as for example 640x480 or 1024x768 to any output resolution up to 1920x108, 3840x2016 or even 4098x2160 is possible. The scale down from any input resolution as for example 3840x2106 can be performed to any output resolution as 1290x720 is possible. One of the scaling engines serve the main output while the second one supports the PIP channel. The scaling operation results crystal clear image displayed in real time with no drop of frames.
Presentation effects
The Picture-in-Picture visualization means display of a second input over the main output window. This second window can display any of the input sources in any position and any scaling/size over the main image. Cropping and arbitrary positioning are supported while the visualization is performed in real time.
These DIVIP804 matrices offer seamless switching of two inputs to the very same output. This best-in-class effect has perfect transition of the signals, meaning no distortion and no black frames. Practically this is perfect switch with zero latency because the change of input frame A to input B is performed during the VSYNC, i.e. the vertical synchron signal active period. This operation is performed by complex hardware FPGA devices.
Fading in means that the video image will open slowly fading from the background. The background can be a solid colour background or even other live video image from any video input. You can customize the time frame to your application.
Fade-out means that the video image fades slowly out to the background. The background can be a solid colour background or even other active video image from any video input. You can customize the desired time to your application.
Cross-fade means that the video image of input A slowly fades to video image B through a smooth transition. This operation is performed in real time of course.
OSD over output signals (On-Screen-Display)
There is a built-in information text about the current output settings and input connections. This information text can be visualized on the OSD (On-Screen-Display) panel. The visibility settings of the OSD panel can be changed here.
• Auto: the information panel is automatically displayed for a given time.
• Yes: the information panel is visualized permanently.
• No: the information panel is not visible.
By default, the information panel can be seen on the top-left corner of each window. The position, size, timing, content, background colour, the text colour and the highlighted colour can also be specified in the OSD panel.
Professional HDCP handling
The products offer professional HDCP handling as supporting HDCP 1.4, 2.0 or 2.2 standards for the perfect integration of the boxes to complex environments. The user can set up at the input side to reflect handling of
• No HDCP
• HDCP 1.4
• HDCP 1.4 or 2.0 or 2.2
The device handles all HDCP standards at the output side depending on the peripheral connected. All the HDCP rules are strictly kept when displaying signals with different HDCP standard.
Perfect EDID handling
The EDID handling at the output and input side has been developed to support easy system integration. Different EDID handling methods include the chance to develop custom EDID to be presented to special input sources.

Custom output resolution
The devices handle all standard output resolutions. Additionally there is the chance to specify custom output resolution. Custom Output Timing Editor helps to create a new output timing, modify a created timing or delete one of created timings. Several custom timings can be created and they can be used for different output channels also.
This editor gives total access to the parameters in order to create a custom output timing:
• The Pixel Frequency (unit: MHz) - the number of pixels per second
• The Active Area Width (unit: pixels) - the number of visible pixels per line
• The H Blanking Interval (unit: pixels)
• The H Front Porch (unit: pixels)
• The H Sync Width (unit: pixels)
• The Active Area Height (unit: lines) - the number of visible lines
• The V Blanking Interval (unit: lines)
• The V Front Porch (unit: lines)
• The V Sync Height (unit: lines)
• The Sync polarities (positive or negative)
