SDVoE Technology
SDVoE is an abbreviation of Software Defined Video over Ethernet. The SDVoE is a high-performance, standardized technology for distributing AV signals as:
- Video
- Audio
- Control (USB HID)
over standard 10 Gbit Ethernet networks. The SDVoE technology offers 4K60 4:4:4 resolution with zero video and audio latency. The configurations offer massive scalability using off-the-shelf switches.

The DNET-VoES, DNET-VoER boxes and the DNET-VCON box form a full featured audio-video transmission system for demanding projects. They handle HDMI input sources and transfer them to HDMI outputs where the 4K60 4:4:4 resolution can cover unlimited distances. They provide SDVoE compliant solution as matrix switchers, video processors or multiviewers.
Full featured software system gives easy to use graphical user interface working in any standard browser.
DEXON’s SDVoE infrastructure contains DNET-VoES SDVoE compliant Transmitters, DNET-VoER SDVoE compliant Receivers, DNET-VCON Universal controller box, one 10G IGMP switcher and DNET-VCON software system.
Now DEXON Systems have expanded this technology by developing direct 4-channel SDVoE input boards, providing an interface to DEXON’s video processors, matrices and video wall controllers. The combination of these technologies results in a flexible and scalable solution for advanced AV projects.
The D4IN2-VEOA4 is a 4-channel optical connection-based input board.

The D4IN2-VECA4 is a 4-channel copper connection-based input board.

The SDVoE technology enables long-distance video transmission, while DEXON video equipment provides high-quality visualization for single displays as well as full video wall systems. The SDVoE inputs deliver uncompressed, real-time display of any content from the SDVoE network.
This enables efficient handling of large-scale video data networks. The system is controlled by a custom DEXON server software platform with a web-based user interface.
