DEXON’s DIVIP video processors display direct input signals over multi-screen video walls. Services as real time scaling, seamless switch, fade effects ensure professional video quality. Demanding AV projects from 4x4 to 144x72 can be supported where remote operators use browser based, graphics user interface for layout management.
The video processor, as a central element of demanding AV projects, is a control box processing and transforming input signals to a viewable content over a multi-screen video wall. The input signals usually come through HDMI cables from media players, satellite receivers or even PC screens. Input signals are then being displayed in any size and any position regardless of the monitor boundaries.
The video wall is a coherent screen of multiple displays usually 2x2, 3x2, 3x3, 4x4 or up to 144x72 size. Over these screens the information must be displayed in highest quality regardless of the monitor borders. Thus, a video processor treats these separate monitors as one giant wall surface, hence the name - video wall. We need to note that a video wall has a great pixel count as it needs to display a single video signal across all available pixels over the video wall. The resolution usually varies from VGA up to UHD. The input signals are processed and are mapped to the output surface. During this mapping scale up or scale down is usually needed while the signals must be displayed in real time. This means there is no room for latency or frame drop.
Our video processors provide all functions you need when it comes to display the content over the video wall. Then you can scale up or scale down this video to a smaller size, any other position or a larger size. You even have the possibility to place this over the entire surface of the wall. Via the user interface, you can assign different user rights to each operator, to ensure a smooth collaboration and a clean video wall.
Resolution
All industry standard signals, resolutions must be supported for the input and output signals by DEXON’s 4K video processor. The resolutions vary from XGA up to FHD or even UHD. The input signals are processed and are mapped to the output surface. During this mapping scale up or scale down is needed and the signals must be displayed in real time. This means there is no room for latency or frame drop.
Collaboration
The users of the video wall share information for the audience to be informed, amused or make decisions. Such video walls give the chance for the central management of traffic, network traffic and industrial process based on central decision making. The audience has the chance to open and share local information or even used other participants’ screen information.
How does a video wall operate?
You can open a video windows over the video wall then you can place this video to any position by simply dragging it. Then you can scale up or scale down this video to a smaller size, any other position or a larger size. You even have the possibility to place this over the entire surface of the wall.
Layout management
We offer limitless possibilities how to display your input videos over the video wall. We can place one input to each screen, or place each input as a quarter of a screen. Or even we can recall a previously saved layout that displays 16 live video inputs.
The management of the video wall surface must be supported by an easy-to-use user interface. In this interface, you are able to save your favourite layouts and to recall any time in the future without having to do the same settings over and over again. This means you can reach your previous designs just by one click!
Presentation effects
Generally, video processors provide attractive presentation effects to create a visually appealing experience for potential users and visitors.
Application Areas
The application of video processors is rather broad as video walls are needed for boardrooms, showrooms, department stores, even in education for universities and high schools. They can also be well integrated in mission critical control rooms for police and government systems.
DEXON’s best video processors make real time visualization and give an attractive visual experience thanks to the fantastic built-in presentation effects. The main advantages are scaling-up and down of the signals up to 4K30 or even 4K60, you can display your inputs in any size and any position over the video wall, you can apply the PIP function and many more effects like seamless switching, fading effects and OSD. Therefore, such a device is the central element for any successful AV projects, providing you the experience and video information for amusement, for being informed and lastly for smooth cooperation.
